"Deep golden with hints of orange highlights present on the rim. This is clearly a well-aged example because while the mature-plus nose flirts with oxidative hints, it remains largely intact with lovely sous bois, baked apple, spice and pear-liqueur style aromas. Most of the supporting mousse has dissipated though there is just enough remaining to add a touch of lift to the very rich and complex flavors where a touch of backend sweetness buffers the notably dry, clean and slightly lean finish."
