Perfumed and pure, this has the classic generosity of Condrieu fruit, but it's neat and defined. Spherical on the palate, with well-balanced acidity and no excess oak, well judged. A little peppery, spicy nip on the finish. Good sense of energy and freshness. Perfect balance. 20% new oak. (MW) - DC

Last of the 2021s, the 2021 Condrieu Chery is cut from the same cloth as the other 2021s and has a pure, fresh, impeccably balanced profile. It offers a touch more minerality than the Chanson, as well as a more chiseled focused mouthfeel. All three of these Condrieu are impressive wines that will shine right out of the gate yet evolve gracefully. - JD

Coming in at the same quality as the 2022, the 2021 Condrieu Chéry is an athletic Viognier, neatly capturing energy and freshness. Banana, apricot, peach, vanilla, blossom and honeysuckle all race out of the glass. Medium-bodied at most, it concludes with solid persistence on the stimulating finale. - VM
