A very Meursault nose combines notes of hazelnut and acacia blossom with those of apple compote, spice and a whisper of brown butter. The impressively rich medium-bodied flavors possess very good volume and evident minerality on the bitter lemon-inflected finish that is notably more complex as well as much more persistent. *Outstanding* - BH

The 2017 Meursault Les Narvaux has a compelling bouquet of gorgeous scents of orange blossom, tangerine, crushed stone and hints of praline in the background. The palate is taut and focused on the entry, delivering impressive weight and salinity. This is a powerful Meursault with a very persistent, sappy finish and a bit of orange peel on the aftertaste. Expect 15–20 years of drinking pleasure. (NM) - VM

This is the Narvaux bottling of Meursault AC, which I assume is the one that Kermit Lynch buys for the US market. It is an outstanding wine in 2017, with the depth and inner core of a top premier cru. The aromatic constellation is absolutely superb, delivering scents of apple, passion fruit, a touch of iodine, chalky minerality, hazelnuts, gentle floral tones and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and shows off a great core of fruit, with superb focus and grip, lovely mineral drive and a long, pure, complex and zesty finish of outstanding energy and lift.
